I got my carrots started the first weekend of September. The plan is to do about 1/8 of the total beds each weekend through October, which should let them over-winter and be ready to harvest before planting time next spring.
I planted six varieties of carrots: Danvers Half-long, Purple Dragon, St. Valery, Kyoto Red, Chantenay Red-Core, June Obtuse Du Doubs.
Since I’m writing this retroactively, I can tell you that I stayed consistent with my plan and did about 1/8 per week.
