No long, wordy articles here. I'm going to keep it clear on what you need to do, and how to find the resources you need on this site.
Cost-effective
I'm not going to encourage you to spend a bunch of money in order to grow some food. That kind of defeats the point right? My philosophy is to grow as much food for my family as economically as possible.

My name is Jordan, I grew up in my Grandad’s garden and love to grow my own food which has no extra “stuff” added and no big corporations involved. I have lots of people ask me about gardening so being an amateur website builder, I decided to make this site to give people an easy way to follow along and do what I do.
This just going to be my online journal of how I grow veggies year-round in Columbia, South Carolina. I will be doing some experimenting here and things will be added as I go, so come back often and check it out!
If you are in South Carolina, (or most anywhere in zone 8b) you should be able to copy/paste my methods and have similar results! If you are not in those zones, you may have to adjust your dates accordingly and I will try to offer suggestions as I go.
